FAQs
How do you select your animals?
We only select animals which are comfortable with human interaction. The dogs/cats we bring for programmes are friendly and are used to being around humans.
What animals will you bring for the workshop?
We recommend dogs/cats for animal interaction time. The animals we bring depend on the number of participants involved as we want to make it a non-stressful environment for our animals as well. Certain animals, because of their prey nature, may be more prone to stress when interacting with large numbers of people.

Additional points to note
Sometimes, AWA brings live animals onsite during animal interaction sessions. Animals are sentient individuals with their own personalities- with likes, dislikes, and fears. AWA reserves the right to remove any animal from the premises should the animal be feeling (but not limited to): stressed, angry, and/or scared. This protects both the participants and the animals so we can ensure a safe environment for both parties.
